1. How to Create a New ECG Report in the PMcardio App
1. Launch the PMcardio for Organizations application on your mobile device (short tutorial here)
2. Initiate the upload of your ECG by tapping the blue "+" button in the app interface. This will open the camera, allowing you to capture the ECG. Important: Allow the app to access the camera. Ensure the entire ECG is visible in the frame for accurate capture. Alternatively, you can select an ECG image from your phone's image gallery if you've already captured the ECG.
For single-page ECGs, the app's software is designed to recognize and interpret the ECG regardless of its orientation, so don't worry about whether the ECG is horizontal or vertical.
3. After capturing the ECG, confirm the upload by following any on-screen prompts. Your ECG will be processed, and results will be available within seconds. If needed, e.g. if the photo quality is not good or you incorrectly captured the ECG by mistake, click on "Try again" and retake the photo. Also, you have an option to "Crop" the photo if there is any unnecessary background around the ECG. Don't forget to ensure that you have selected the correct paper speed and voltage gain settings for accurate ECG interpretation and click on "Get results":

2. Additional Tips for Optimal ECG Upload
💡Clear Data Visibility: Ensure the picture is clearly visible when capturing the ECG. For successful digitization, having a clear view of the grid and the ECG tracings is crucial. Position your camera close enough so that the ECG fills most of the frame, ensuring all details are readable and all the waveforms are fully captured.
💡 Avoid Overlapping Images: Ensure that no other ECGs or documents overlap with the one you photograph. Overlapping can obscure essential data and lead to errors in digitization. Also, avoid having other ECGs right under the one you're photographing so that the app doesn't mistakenly consider their tracings, too.
💡 Keep the ECG Flat: Try to smooth out any bends or creases in the ECG before taking the photo. A flat surface allows for a more accurate reading and digitization of the ECG. Place the ECG on a flat, solid-colored background to avoid interference from patterns or textures.
3. Supported ECG Formats
The application can work with both standard and Cabrera single-page and multi-page 12-lead ECG formats. Here are the formats we currently support:

Note: Multi-page means 2-page or 4-page ECGs, i.e. 2-page where each page has 6 leads or 4-page where each page has 3 leads.

4. Visibility and Creation of ECG Reports in the Web Interface
Creating new ECG reports in the PMcardio for Organizations web interface is also possible. The tutorial for the web interface is here.
You'll be able to see your reports in the application and the web interface; it doesn't matter where you've created them.
